Canadian Besner Family of French Origins

Very modest beginnings

During a census ordered by the new government in 1765, he was assigned the name "Jos. Bézener" and have described his social status. He has a house, a wife, two young daughters, his land covers 60 acres like most of his neighbors, but he has only 8 acres seeded, the rest was probably not cleared yet; for livestock, only one cow, a heifer, a sheep and three pigs, no bulls or horse like his neighbors have. Here are very modest origins!
